Wine Bus

At a turning point in his life, he began visiting wineries within a two-hour drive of Madrid and soon discovered that he had found his calling. Ever since, he has been bringing people on tours to Spain’s beautiful wine cellars every Saturday. The brilliant part is — you don’t have to drink and drive! He takes care of the bus for you, hence the name — the Wine Bus — which picks you up and drops you off from the center of Madrid. So hop on!

Each trip costs 59€ plus 20€ for food and wine per person.

Oversailing Spain

When it comes to sailing, there is a slight impediment in Madrid. The city is surrounded by a precious Sierra and a rich meseta, but not a real (or fake) sea and that makes sailing quite difficult to do so. Sure there are a few options to get the sailing feel, although we felt there were no more than patches unil you really experience the Mediterranean sea or the Atlantic ocean in Spain.

A few months later we found a real experience which we think we should share with you. We went to Cadiz and spent the hole week sailing in the Atlantic and Guadalquivir river. Here is a link to the original post about our trip sailing.
