Design Market & Food Trucks at Mercado Central de Diseño at El Matadero

Ever few months, a design market takes place at El Matadero, a former slaughterhouse turned cultural center and arguably the city’s coolest venue. If you’ve never been, this weekend’s your chance! Expect to see over 160 designers, workshops, live performances and 20 food trucks, plus much more!

El Matadero is just a few stops away from Sol. Entrance to El Mercado Central de Diseño costs €2.

Madrid Beer Week!!

Beer lovers, get ready because Madrid Beer Week‘s 2nd edition is coming back to the city!

From the 8th to the 21st of June, every beer shop will have something prepared for 14 days straight. Some of the many activities on offer will include workshops and beer tastings with cheese. You’ll find everything you’ve ever dreamt of.

International Gastronomy Summit — 13th edition!

Attention all foodies!! Madrid Fusión is bringing us the 13th International Gastronomy Summit! (In Spanish, XIII Cumbre de la Gastronomía). This entails three days of workshops, activities, contests, conferences, tastings and so much more. It is not a cheap event, but totally worth it if you are a food profesional or simply adore the world of gastronomy.

Gastrofestival Madrid — a 2-week city-wide food celebration!

Madrid will be celebrating food culture for two full weeks! GastroFestival is an event that brings together more than 400 restaurants and bars to offer a delightful array of food-inspired opportunities, from tapas tastings to workshops, with one sole purpose — TO CELEBRATE FOOD!

Madrid Fusión and the Ayuntamiento de Madrid (Madrid’s city hall) are the organizers we should be thanking. If you are in the capital from Jan. 31 – Feb. 15, don’t miss this chance to experience Madrid’s finest.

Thielmann Craft Beer Fair

Did you hear us say international craft beer fair?? Yes, you did! The first edition of the Thielmann Craft Beer Fair is coming to Madrid on Friday 28th (6pm-12am) and ending on Saturday 29th (12pm-12am), and taking place in the convention pavilion in Casa de Campo. The fair will bring together 30 breweries from around the country to offer presentations, talks and tastings all revolving around the wonderful world of craft beer. It will cost you only 3€ to enter the beer-filled pavilion, so there’s no excuse if you don’t go.
