Liven Up Your Saturday Lunch with Vermouth, Porrones and Mom-style Sandwiches

The Madrid-based popup, La Vermutería, is hosting a party on Saturday afternoon that you can’t miss. It will take place in Malasaña’s El Porrón Canalla, a rather new venue that is reviving bocadillos de madre and all drinks are served from porrones, a traditional container with a long spout that allows a large group of people to drink (usually wine!) from the same bottle without needing cups (see in the photo below)

I’m not sure if the vermouth is going to be served from porrones on this occasion, but you can expect delicious bocadillos de madre and Vermut Zecchini.
